Oatmeal Banana Cookies (sugar-free, dairy-free)

I heard about these gems from a patient of mine and had to try them. I always have a few ripe bananas kicking around and don’t always get to making my gluten-free banana bread. The natural sugars from the bananas make these a naturally sweet treat, with endless possibility. Add whatever extras you like, as these cookies are the perfect base. Quick and easy, free of refined sugars and common allergens. Great for breakfast, snacks to send with lunches, or an afternoon treat.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup oatmeal (quick or non-quick)
  • 1tsp-1Tbsp cocoa
  • Optional: walnuts, raisins, cinnamon, or anything!

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 C.
  2. Mix ingredients together, scoop on cookie tray.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes, let cool. Enjoy!
