As promised, I have shared my quick and simple salad dressing recipe below. Homemade salad dressing is just as easy as opening up your fridge and fetching the store bought stuff…give or take 2 minutes. You can customize it as you wish and kick the preservatives and artificial flavours to the curb. I whipped this dressing up on monday night for our mixed greens salad and it was a hit. Not only does is have an amazing flavour, but cardiovascular health benefits from olive oil, and antioxidants and vitamin C from the lemon. Adjust the amounts according to taste.
Maple Balsamic Salad Dressing
- 1/4 cup cold pressed extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- juice from 1/4 lemon
