Chocolate Chia Pudding
Chia is a source of healthy fibre, protein, and omega 3 fatty acids (great for cardiovascular health, mental health, joints, you name it!). It helps to slow digestion, keeping you feeling full longer, and regulate blood sugar levels, something many people struggle with in our sugar-filled society. It makes a great breakfast or an afternoon snack. Rather than opening up the pudding with an expiry date in another century, reach for this health-packed, tasty treat instead. Try it, it’s a neat treat for the whole family.
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 cup liquid (almond milk, chocolate almond milk, coconut milk)
- Optional: fresh berries, cacoa nibs, banana
Directions
- Combine ingredients, stir well.
- Stir every now and then, while letting sit for 30-45 minutes.
- Top with optional ingredients as desired.
